Author: NConnors

Nathaniel Connors is a longtime New England resident who currently resides in Massachusetts. His work often explores themes of authority, power, survival, and consequence, blending speculative fiction with psychological tension across dystopian horror, science fiction, and psychological thriller. Connors first gained recognition with his sci-fi/fantasy novel Revelation: Creatures Rule the Night in March 2012. He followed with two additional titles in the series in 2013, Lucifer’s Legionnaire and The Chronicles of Lucifer: An Anthology Based on the Revelation Series. After reobtaining the publishing rights to his debut work, Connors released expanded editions of both Creatures Rule the Night and Lucifer’s Legionnaire in 2018. That same year, he published the psychological thriller Stories of a Condemned Soul, followed in 2019 by his highest-grossing title, Evolution A200: A Bubonic Apocalypse. In April 2026, Connors expanded his catalog with the release of The Nether, a dystopian horror novel exploring societal collapse, grief, vengeance, and the monstrous consequences lurking beneath a fractured world. In addition to his novels, Connors has spent several years working in film and screenwriting. He is the creator and lead writer for the film adaptations of The Salesman (based on Stories of a Condemned Soul) and EA200: A Bubonic Apocalypse. His three-minute psychological thriller Room 302, filmed by Brian Stiver, was highlighted on Project Greenlight. Today, Connors continues to build his literary and cinematic universe, with the upcoming second installments of both Evolution A200 and Stories of a Condemned Soul scheduled for release later this year.

Books may be where the stories begin… but they are far from where the conversation ends.

Beyond the novels, these spaces are where I share the thoughts behind the darkness, the writing process, new ideas taking shape, personal reflections, horror inspiration, and the creative world that exists outside the page.

If you enjoy storytelling, dystopian worlds, psychological depth, or simply want to connect beyond the books themselves, join me across social media.

Let’s talk writing, horror, imagination, and everything in between.

Book One in the Nether Series

“When someone takes what matters most, ‘fuck it all’ is a reasonable reaction,” Ethan says, fixed on the Beretta in his hand. “Especially when death feels like a relief.”

— Ethan Carson

What remains are fragments of a broken world—scattered survivors clinging to faded authority, hollow symbols, and lost ideals.

Ethan Carson walks among the ruins, a man hollowed by grief. He no longer fights to survive. Death would be easier.

But revenge refuses to let him rest.

Stories of a Condemned Soul

Stories of a Condemned Soul (Volume One)

Posted on April 21, 2026April 21, 2026 by NConnors

“My story is meaningless if not for the man who brokered my soul.”

Jon Jacob – The Salesman (Stories of a Condemned Soul)

Blurb:

Jon Jacob sits alone in a dim pub, a bottle of whiskey pressed to his lips as grief drags him ever deeper into its grip. Haunted by the loss of his daughter — a pain too sharp to face — Jon chooses numbness over memory, surrendering to the slow pull of despair.

On the edge of oblivion, preparing for what feels like his final act, Jon is interrupted by a cunning Salesman. Smooth, unsettling, and impossibly persuasive, the man offers him something unthinkable: revenge.

The bargain is simple. The reward, irresistible. With nothing left to lose, Jon reaches for the deal, never questioning the cost hidden beneath its promise. But once the terms are sealed, he learns too late that vengeance is only the bait, and that the debt owed is far greater than the soul he bartered.

Evolution A200: A Bubonic Apocalypse

Evolution A200: A Bubonic Apocalypse

Posted on April 21, 2026April 21, 2026 by NConnors

Book One in the EA200 Series

“Oh, trust me.” He eases onto the steps, lowering himself with a groan. “These old bones felt every tremor through their joists.” Flopping onto his ass, he adds, “Which makes me question the stability of our so-called shelter.”

“It’s brick and steel versus flesh and bone,” Denise exclaims. “It’ll hold—”

“- until an earthquake brings it down . . . And, my dear Denise, the ground is already shaking.”

Chapter Seventeen – Evolution A200: A Bubonic Apocalypse

Blurb:

Centuries ago, a forbidden plague was sealed beneath Rome—
not cured, not conquered, merely silenced.
Time buried the truth. Faith guarded the secret. But hunger never dies.

When the tomb is disturbed, the sickness that wakes is older than empires and far less mortal.
It spreads like a whispered curse, raising the dead in its passing—yet not mindlessly.
Some infected learn.
Others remember.
And one mutation rises with the patience of a wolf wearing human skin.

In the ashes of the outbreak, one thing becomes unmistakable:
Someone wanted the plague freed.
Someone prepared for this.
And someone is still watching.

But the plague is evolving.
And what it becomes next may spell the end of humanity.
